I-VAN Appraiser
Wayne Mikosz, of Placitas, NM, became an I-VAN Certified Appraiser in 2011 upon completion of the I-VAN Appraisal Training School. Wayne covers all of New Mexico but is also available for special assignments in parts of West Texas, Arizona, Utah, and Colorado upon request.
Wayne has been an automotive hobbyist for more than 40 years and has owned a wide range of antique and modified vehicles. He is an active National Judge for the Antique Automobile Club of America (AACA) and also has been a local car show judge for the Classic Car Club of America and Vintage MG Car Club. In addition to cars & trucks, Wayne is an avid motorcyclist.
Wayne also has experience as a driver and TSD Rally Navigator with the Sports Car Club of America (SCCA).
His current restoration project is a 1946 Chevrolet Suburban Carry-All, which he is doing as a “Resto-Rod” (looks stock on the outside but has an upgraded drive train).
As an I-VAN Certified Appraiser Wayne has appraised a wide range of vehicles from early antique cars to vehicles of the ‘50’s to Mustangs to muscle cars to street rods and modifieds. He has provided his expert services for many purposes including establishing insurance coverage values, settling insurance claims, and pre-purchase appraisals/evaluations.

- Certified Appraiser in the International Vehicle Appraisers Network (nationwide association). Graduate of the I-VAN Appraisers Training School.
- Providing Professional Appraisals of automobiles, trucks, motorcycles, and Automobilia, etc. Appraisals accepted by insurance companies as well as banks, credit unions, IRS, and Courts of Law (Expert Witness), etc.
- National Judge for the Antique Automobile Club of America (AACA).
- I-VAN Appraisals are accepted by the Antique Automobile Club of America’s National Museum, Transportation Museum of Virginia, American Truck Historical Society, BMW National Museum, etc.
- I-VAN Appraisals of vehicles and Automobilia along with proper IRS forms are accepted by the IRS for donations to museums and other charitable organizations, providing tax-deductible contributions.
